FOCUS VOLLEYBALL CLUB IS GETTING READY FOR AN EXCITING 2025 INDOOR SEASON!
FOCUS VOLLEYBALL CLUB IS BASED ONE OF THE LARGER LOWER MAINLAND VOLLEYBALL CLUBS. We have our teams primarily based out of the Burnaby/East Van- Tri-Cities area. We also have a team based out of Surrey.
UPDATE Jan 22 - We will be running 2 - 10 week co-ed training programs for U12-14 players at Harry Jerome Sports Centre starting February 3rd and 6th respectively.
Session 1 will run on Monday nights 4:30 - 6:30 PM there are 12 spots open
Session 2 will run on Thursday nights 4:30 - 6:30 PM there are 24 spots open
Players can sign up for both sessions if they would like to do so.
Registration will open Friday Jan 24th at 4:00PM

Cost will be $195 and include a Focus dry fit training shirt and entry into our summer grass program. We play at Mundy Park in Coquitlam from 6-8 pm weather permitting. Grass runs over 30 sessions, from Mid - June to at least Aug 14th.
Combined this is an outstanding value. We will run open training in the summer, usually Monday nights, but we may offer more.
IMPORTANT: After registering for a training program you will need to purchase a Volleyball BC membership through Sportlomo (you'll need to set up an account first). This membership is a requirement from our provincial governing sport body, Volleyball BC.

Practice players: Our club is accepting applications for practice players for the 12U/13U/14u boys program. These athletes receive training twice a week until the end of April. Contact focusvolleyball2017@gmail.com for further inquiries.
Grass Court Season (mid-June to August)
Tryouts for the 2025 season (which runs from January to May 2025) are now over. Thank you to all of the players and families that came to the tryouts, if you did not make it this year keep playing and don't forget Focus Grass this summer. 4 nights a week, Mon-Thur 6-8 pm starting mid June until early August, its the best value out there.
Keep your eye on the site for more camps, clinics and an updated summer program to include open grass tournaments and possibly league play for summer.
Coaches always Needed:

FOCUS VOLLEYBALL SUCCESSES DURING THE 2024 SEASON
Congratulations to our Focus Volleyball Club Teams who won medals at Provincials and Nationals.
2024 PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONS & MEDALISTS
Focus teams won four provincials titles. Also noteworthy is our 13u/14u boys program which has been most successful for the past 20 plus years.
We are very proud of last year's combined results of our 13u/14u Boys program. Five of our six 13u & 14u boys teams won provincial medals including two provincial championship titles!!!
The previous year the 14u's were the national champions while the 13u's were the highest placing 13u team at the 14u Nationals. As well, the Focus Volleyball Club 13u/14 boys program won three provincial medals in 2023.

INDOOR CLUB SEASON NOTES:
Our club is based out of the Burnaby-Tri-Cities area, but we accept athletes from anywhere in the Greater Vancouver Area. Where we have more than one team at an age level we divide the teams by skill level (i.e. A and B teams).
The indoor club season generally runs from early December to the end of May. (We start practicing in January).
Teams generally have 2 practices a week and attend 4 or more tournaments/events during the season. These tournaments take place on the weekend.
Coaches have demonstrated passion for the game of volleyball and working with young athletes. All of our coaches are expected to be certified through the National Coaches Certification Program.
